This design is informed by elements in early sketches for Nina’s Topkapi printed fabric, which was inspired by ornate Iznik ceramic medallions, & stylised climbing foliage. The tile takes its name from the Topkapi palace, once home to the Ottoman sultans and now housing a stunning collection of decorative ceramic tiles.
